[ a morbid fascination that borders on obsession. ]

We took a whooping 20 tickets, but a measly 6 bothered to turn up. And so we made our way to Caldercott Broadcasting Centre albeit with a bit of luck, hitchiking a mini-bus and asking a security guard for directions when we ended up at radio centre. A tad late, but better than never. It turned out that we had to wait for another hour before we actually entered the studio. We mingled around the reception counter and grabbed a bite from the vending machines.

We led through a maze of concrete structures before ushered into a smoky and sophisticated studio. We took our cue, and sat on the stage, behind the contestants of Chelsea-India. The host was some Andy whatsisname and they were all formal and business-like. First, the took shots of us clapping, cheering and even laughing. It came to my attention that certain scenes do not happen happen simultaneously, as in they edit and fit in the scenes.

The 'captain' of Arsenal-Singapore was Les Ferdinand while the captain of Chelsea-India was Lee Sharpe. The game had 5 sections and equally challenging. I can't reveal what happened, so go watch it(actually i can't remember some of it). Its Kickoff on ESPN, a new soccer trivia game which should be starting soon in case your're wondering. It between the takes, they asked questions to the audience(which isn't featured in the programme) and i won myself an autographed by an-unknown-person ESPN tee. Shi Han also won a same tee, and we feel tempted to just use it.

So look out for the game, and spot me.

Oh, and Lee Sharpe made his England debut against Republic Of Ireland as a subtitute.

Later.
