Its always the same scenario. I sit in from of the computer. Squeeze out a mediocre and rudimentary paragraph and close the window. That is the recent shenanigans of adiboo. I don't know whether its sheer laziness or that i have lost my appetite for blogging, i'm searching for an answer myself.

Where should i start?

Saturday(26/11) was Ms Fong's wedding reception at Shangri-La. Almost the whole class went, with the exception of a few. Actually we weren't there for the ceremony as there were limited seats(and we weren't invited obviously). We came after the ceremony for a session of our own; watch the slide show, devouring the left overs, handing over of the scrapbook and picture taking. After that met up with adeel at orchard to get a cd each, he bought prodigy's compilation of songs while i got slipknot's live 9.0.

Then rushed home and got changed for night cycling. I just got my daily contact lens and decided to try them out. I took a whole 20 minutes to put them on, is that good or bad considering it was my first time and the optician didn't even brief me on the technique. At the same time, i wasted a pair as 1 dropped and cannot be found(i found it the next day) and the other wasn't turgid anymore due to repetitive shoving into my eye.

Then rushed to Bedok, and then to East Coast to meet up with Amin and his PromiseWork friends. We were 1 hour behind schedule(because of me) and we went out of east coast through Kallang and to town to Lido to have a late dinner. From there we proceeded to Botanical Gardens to investigate the so called 'White House' and we saw an unmarked building on the map simply labelled as C. It was dark and the lights were turned off when we cycled inside. Before anything could happen, we were spotted by the park rangers and were told to leave immediately as cycling was not allowed in the park. On the way out, JJ and i saw a parked car with the passenger seat inclined with the guy on top on the girl. Go figure.

After that, we went to Holland Village for a rest, then to NUS to try the 99 bends. Somehow we got lost and asked for directions. Apparently the 99 bends is not in the NUS compound and its a road called 88 Buona Vista Road or something. It was at maximum 20+ bends but it was straight downhill and going at maximum speed. A police patrol car zoomed passed and that was the only notable incident. Then we followed Pasir Panjang Road right up to Raffles Place to the Esplanade where along it another police patrol(might have been the same car) went close to scrutinize us and went off without a word.

We backtracked a bit to Tiong Bahru for breakfast then went straight back to East Coast. While nearing the bicycle kiosk, i saw Shirley and her boyfriend strolling along the walking path. It was odd as it was only 9am, most probably they might have spent the night there. Took 966 back home and can't help falling asleep on the ride home. That 99 winks proved costly for me as back home, i couldn't remove my left contact lens as it somehow got stuck to my eyeball. After many fruitless attempts, i sought they help of the optician who extracted it nochalantly. I felt a small suction force and it left my eye all watery. What a traumatising first experience. Nontheless, wearing contact lens gave me a new found freedom.
