2 days gone so far fulfilling my lust for sleep and appeasing my drooping eyelids and subconscious mind. Wednesday, half a day in school for the chemistry mock exam and the other half, well, playing the xbox. Gotta relax you know. Tomorrow will be class outing, and most probably the whole day gone too unless i'll be a good boy and study at night, which i just might. Friday morning training, then ultimately to the weekends is only mine to decide.
Some stuffs about last week. Soccer in some kind of turmoil after last week's training. Some buggers somehow managed to book the field ahead of us, even though we already block book it. They only used a small area and refuse to share with us, saying they would finish soon and play with us. In the end we ended up playing at the basketball court which turned out more fun but reared it ugly head when somebody clashed with coach about a certain matter. Just great.
Teacher's day celebrations was a total bore at school. Of course its for the teachers, but at the same time not at out expense. I'm quite sure some teachers weren't having a jolly good time either. The ACES day workout was equally stale, but good work for those who came up with the steps and such. Class party was better, we decided not to watch the teachers vs students basketball match. Then had a very untimely talk by the police on crime, like on teachers day??
After that the class party continued in the canteen where there were some performances by some external groups. I wanted to sneak out of the back gate but it was locked, and the gaps were barricaded, i think because of the Azri squeezing act. Turned out that many people just walked out of the front gate and so did Adeel, Zaki and me and went back to bukit panjang.
Apparently we were late, most of them were already going home and the canteen was being cleaned by mrs wong the new head of student council, poor her, haha. Catched up with the people i haven't seen for sometime, where many of the skipped school just to go back to BP. I should have done the same. And BP is looking more and more totalitarian with the banners and posters of all sorts. I'm not against them, just that those i deem are unnecessary.
Nothing to do after that, Zaki, Din, Dinie and me went to town to burn some time as we didn't want to go back yet, we were still in school uniform but that didn't matter. It was quite a waste of time, but i really needed to chill out and soothe the tension in my nerves.
On the teachers' day holiday(Thursday) and Saturday did survey taking for our PW project. First went to Bedok, then Ang Mo Kio and lastly Marsiling by the time we were really sick of it. It was just a simple survey on road safety and such and yet people fine it so difficult to spare just one minute to do. At the same time many species of people were encountered with various excuses and responses. It wasn't the least humourous. We didn't get the desired results and its quite baffling as the responses we got were contradicting to the questions we posed.
One more thing, Friday after school had the audition for the POP showcase. It strikes me as odd as there weren't other groups or a schedule posted that day. Turned out we were the only group and Mdm Hani, one of the teacher in charge didn't bother to properly schedule us for an audition. Turned out when we were ready she had already left for staff meeting. Since we had already prepared, we just taped out performance and sent it to her. Hopefully we can make it for the finals.
Another month to the mid-course exams. The push starts now.
